What Asia Pass is
Asia Pass is LUMA's dedicated product for travel within Asia, underwritten by Bao Long Insurance Corporation. Unlike World Pass's three plans, Asia Pass offers four tiers: Essential, Explorer, Adventurer and Pioneer — with medical limits scaling from USD 200,000 to USD 1,000,000, the highest in LUMA's product range.

Sub-limits worth noting
- Baggage: USD 217 per item, USD 435 per pair/set, laptops capped at USD 435 — slightly higher than World Pass's caps.
- Hospital room: USD 261/day maximum across all tiers.
- Personal accident for under-18s: capped at USD 2,000 across all tiers.
- Travel delay: USD 22 per full 6 hours — covered on Adventurer and Pioneer only.

Asia Pass vs World Pass at a glance
Asia Pass's medical floors start where World Pass's Plan 3 peaks ($200,000 = World Pass Plan 3 = Asia Pass Essential). If your trip is entirely within Asia and you want the highest medical ceiling available, Asia Pass is the stronger product — at a premium price. For trips touching non-Asian destinations, or for the cheapest compliant Schengen cover, World Pass or Schengen Pass remain the right tools.
